I care very little what you are saying, because I want a game that I can enjoy playing! I don’t want to play Diablo 2.5 like you and a few kids. You may be more modern than the rest of us who want to preserve Diablo 2. Vicarious Visions are gonna lose so much!! I hope they are not stupid enough to take the path.Įven if we live in 2021, it does not mean that we have to change everything that is.
IF that happen, a lot of people won’t play this game. The game will sooner or later be a whole new unrecognizable game because everything changes. This is done by speaking to Akara after completing the Den of Evil quest in Act 1. A character can now respec their attributes.
I know they have added a few things, but It doesn’t mean we have to CHANGE EVERYTHING in the game. Yes, as of patch 1.13 you can respec by collecting one of each essence and using them in the Horadiric Cube 1 of each of the Essences -> Reset of stats In v1.13 a new choice was added. Yeah sure, Let’s make Diablo 2 as Diablo 3.
D2R is already adding options that were never part of D2 because the have merit (auto-gold pickup, shared stash, etc…) Just because the game still is played, does not meant that 1.14d is the historical preference or that D2 1.14d is immutable perfection. You do know most/the vast majority of the original D2 players quit the game over the past 21 years.
